What payment methods are available?
You may use Paypal or Google Checkout.
How do I purchase a component?
- Choose a component and add it to the shopping cart.
- Agree to the End User License Agreement.
- Choose payment method and proceed to Google Checkout or Paypal.
- Sign in or create a new AFC account.
- Download the component from the account dashboard.
The status of my payment says PENDING. Why is that?
There are several reasons why your component may be pending. The most common reason is processing delay with Google Checkout. If this is the case the issue will be automatically resolved within one hour. If that does not happen shoot us an email.
The second most common reason is pending PayPal eCheck payment. Paypal eCheck may take up to 72 hours to fully process payment. When payment has been confirmed by PayPal, the component will be available for download.
How do I download purchased component?
After payment has been processed you will be redirected to your AFC profile page. Components can be downloaded from the My Components section. Purchased components are available for download or upgrade at any time.
Is there a limit on the number of times I can download a component?
No, you can download it as many times as you want. Just don’t go crazy and download it a million times or something like that.
Where are my previously purchased components?
Components purchased prior to May 2007 have to be added to your account manually. Please contact us with a proof of purchase.
Upgrade FAQ
What is an upgrade?
An upgrade is an updated version of a component that includes new features, bug fixes and functionality.
Why should I upgrade?
To take advantage of new features and functionality.
Do I have to pay for and upgrade?
Nope, all of our upgrades are free with component purchase.
How do I know when the new version of a component is out?
If you have selected to be contacted about product updates, we will email you. If not, you can check the component’s home page, or your “My Components” page.Is there anything I need to do when performing an upgrade?
Yes, you need to download and install the new version. Then update any files where you used the old version.
How do I update my flash file with an upgraded version of a component?
After you have installed the new version, simply copy it from your components window in Flash to your library. Make sure you choose “replace” when the warning window comes up.
I purchased components before 05-01-2007, how do I request an upgrade?
Just contact us at support at afcomponents.com with your transaction ID and PayPal email address and we will add the upgrade to your “My Components” page.Technical Support FAQ
Will this component work without Adobe Flash?
Yes. Components must be installed with Adobe Extension Manager and used with Adobe Flash.
What version of Adobe Flash™ do I need?
Our components are built to work with Adobe Flash™ version 8 and above.
How do I check version of currently installed component?
Open Extension Manager™ and all of your components and their current versions will be listed.Where can I get specific help when working with Events and Methods?

Are there any training materials or documentation?
Yes, each component comes with tutorials, documentation and sample files. Links to the above listed information can be found from the component page.
Are there any example files included?
